One day I took my guitar to the back of Wekiva Springs State Park and played by the river. It's was amazingly hot, I remember. But I eventually got involved in a stare down with a beetle which got me thinking... It seems that no matter how much you feel like you are having a moment with an organism with a creature of its nature, you'll really never ever know. The relationship is purely within your mind. That's OK, right? This beetle had no idea it was in a park or that it was an important part of my musical life. I don't even know if it was a boy or a girl...
